nutrition checkins for people in Central Victoria.
Greta’s goal is to make nutrition knowledge accessible, practical, and empowering - so you feel more confident nourishing yourself and your family, no matter your starting point or money in the bank.
Nutrition can feel difficult…
Nutrition is made to feel complicated, overwhelming, and confusing - often by design. Whether it’s to sell a product, a service, or it’s simply a fad, misinformation is rife. Many people are trying to juggle busy lives, family needs, budgets, cultural expectations, and their own health - all while being told they’re “doing it wrong”, with nowhere to turn to figure out how to do it right.
If nutrition feels hard, you’re not failing. You’re navigating a system that often makes simple things feel unnecessarily complex.
.. But it doesn’t have to be this complicated.
Good nutrition doesn’t require perfection, strict rules, or an “all or nothing” approach. Small, consistent habits matter far more than doing everything “right.”
Nutrition can be:
Flexible
Practical
Adaptable to your real life
Supportive rather than stressful
Learning how to feed yourself well is a skill - and skills can be learned, practiced, and adjusted over time.
What Check-Ins are
Community Nutrition Check-Ins are short, supportive sessions designed to make nutrition feel more accessible and less overwhelming. This is not about strict plans or perfection: it’s about learning how to feed yourself (and your family) in a way that feels doable and sustainable. You can come in with questions, select goals, or a blank slate. Before your appointment, you will be asked to fill in an intake form, and you may also be asked to fill in a diet and symptom diary to allow us to utilise our time together efficiently.
Who Check-Ins are for
These check-ins are open to anyone in the community looking for guidance, clarity, or a starting point with nutrition. No prior knowledge required - just curiosity and a willingness to learn (and maybe a list of questions or goals!)
The vision with Community Nutrition Check-Ins was to provide support to my community - particularly to those who would otherwise be unable to afford to access it. I will never ask for proof of concession.
What I can help with
In these 20 minutes, we can work on things like:
General nutrition questions
Learning how to build balanced meals
Increasing protein, fibre, or overall nourishment
Feeding kids or families with less stress
Grocery ideas, meal structure, or simple swaps
Setting 1–2 clear, realistic nutrition goals
Important Notes
These sessions are educational and supportive - they are not the same as a Naturopathy appointment
They are not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions - just to help you nourish yourself & your family
For complex medical concerns, I recommend a full appointment, not a Check-In - send an email if you’re not sure what suits you best
What to expect
A relaxed, judgment-free conversation
Practical, real-life strategies (not rigid rules)
Clear takeaways you can use right away
Support tailored to your current situation, budget, time, and preferences
A body-neutral, welcoming space
Why I made Community Nutrition Check-Ins
I believe everyone deserves access to clear, practical nutrition support. These sessions are offered to reduce barriers to care and provide a welcoming, food-neutral space where all bodies, cultures, budgets, and experiences are respected. My goal is to empower you with knowledge and realistic tools so you can feel more confident nourishing yourself and your family - without judgment or pressure to be “perfect.”
Book in your Nutrition Check-In today.
Appointments are free, 20 minutes long, and available on a limited basis. Please arrive on time so we can make the most of your session.
If you have any questions before booking, or don’t see any availabilities on the calendar, send an email and we’ll find you a time.
Nutrition Check-Ins are only available in person in Castlemaine - every second Saturday of the month.
